It's time for college football (GO BUCKS!)...my favorite time of year. Autumn begins on the 22nd. Kids are back in school, but not ours...it's hard to believe that Amy has been out of high school for 12 years already. Zachary starts kindergarten next year. I think he's ready now. Not only can he do the ABC's forward, he does them backwards as well. My sister Bonnie used to be able to do that. She also knew Pig-Latin, how to twirl a baton and sing. She should have been on America's Got Talent doing baton twirling while singing her ABC's backwards in Pig-Latin. I'll talk with her about that one. She's a real ham...(maybe that explains the Pig-Latin). We love you Bonnie!
Karen's step-mother Shirlene passed away in August. After the funeral her Dad had to take their dog Misty to the vet and have her put down. Needless to say, it was a day her Dad struggled with.
Those celebrating Birthdays this month are: David Saunders on the 4th, Emily Taylor on the 7th (she's a teenager now!), Emily Schwab on the 9th, Patrick Ghaster on the 18th and last but definitely not least is my big brother, Tom Ghaster. He turns 72 on the 26th. Happy Birthday to all of you and may God Bless.
There are a few couples celebrating anniversaries this month: Tom & Sue Ghaster on the 1st, Brian & Liz Taylor on the 5th. Happy Anniversary to you both.
